He still enjoys little things like a new slinky and is willing to sit in a window so I can play with the light. I wonder what goes on inside his head. I love him.

I will always cherish photos of him with this dog. They have sort of grown up together. We got her when he was barely 4 and he has always loved her so much.

Ok, so he’s actually not a wrecker, but he does love to bite little toesies, drag my son’s backpack around the kitchen, and chase our 10 yr old Lhasa-Poo around the house. But isn’t he just oh-so-cute???? He won’t be little for long…..

What could possibly be better than a precious newborn? Two precious newborns! I had the privelege to cuddle, rock, shush, feed and cuddle (oh did I say that already) two sweet little guys on Saturday. With twins, I knew I had my work cut out for me, and they definitely kept me busy and challenged, but at the end of the day, I got what I came to get – oh so sweet photos of two super cute little boys.

Perhaps you’ve heard the phrase “photographer’s child” or “PCS – photographer’s child syndrom”… it’s true – these kids are overly photographed. Every time I want to learn a new technique or try out a new location, I am always dragging my kiddos along. I have come to expect the grumbles and groans, but know that it’s worth it because I’m always rewarded with some new favorites. Well, when I got the new camera I’ve been longing for a couple weekends ago, my 7 yr old son was not suprised when I told him we were going to be doing pictures soon! I think he was excited for the rainy forecast because he knew I wouldn’t drag him out into a field if it was raining. But late in the day, to2day, the sun finally burned through all the clouds, and we had enough time to run out to my favorite spot so that “mom could play”. Of course, I bribed them with ice cream if they were cooperative – what kid doesn’t want ice cream??? So here are my results Mom, couldn’t be happier

A beautiful family, a beautiful beach, and a beautiful sunset – what more could I ask for??? We had so much fun playing by Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach. This is the stuff that all family sessions should be made of! So much love and joy! And I just love their sense of adventure and how carefree they were. I mean, we’re at the beach, so you might as well become one with the sand and the waves!
