What could possibly be better than a precious newborn? Two precious newborns! I had the privelege to cuddle, rock, shush, feed and cuddle (oh did I say that already) two sweet little guys on Saturday. With twins, I knew I had my work cut out for me, and they definitely kept me busy and challenged, but at the end of the day, I got what I came to get – oh so sweet photos of two super cute little boys.

Thursday, May 5th, 2011It has been a while since I’ve had a sweet little girl to photograph, so I was super excited to try out all kinds of fun frilly blankets and hats with Mikayla, but she wasn’t really having much of it – that’s just the way it sometimes goes with newborns. After putting in a few hours of honest effort, mom and I agreed that she had enough for the day and that we would try again in a couple days. Sadly, little Mikayla came down with her first cold at 12 days old (no wonder she didn’t want her picture taken!) When Mikayla was about 3 months old, we finally got her back in to “finish” what we started 10 weeks prior. While the new photos weren’t as “newborn”-ish, we still got some amazing and sweet photos to remember Mikayla’s babyhood. Mikayla is such a beautiful baby with some amazing skin tones.

Little redheaded sweetie {Santee, Ca Newborn Photographer}
Monday, August 23rd, 2010I had the pleasure of photographing the sweetest little guy with the most gorgeous red hair! I was expecting a chunker when I heard that he weighed in at 10 lbs 12 oz at birth!!! But was surprised to see that he really wasn’t all that chubby – just the right amount of chub to make him oh so cute! Although, his chubby face was too big for the cute little baby bear hat I made especially for this session…
I could’ve photographed little B all day, as he snoozed through most of the session, with just one little wake up to eat. He sure did spoil me. Another thing that makes him so special is his granddaddy was my English professor and my advisor at San Diego Christian College. I love being able to give back to a family that had such a great impact in my life!
Here’s a couple favs from the session.
