…but I still call her baby all the time. She’s our baby and she’s growing up way too fast. She’s almost 4 and wants to do everything big girls do, like ride a bike, go to Kindergarten, and wash her own hair. And she loves it when we do little photo shoots, as long as I catch her in the right mood. Well, this time, she had just woke from her nap, and I asked if it would be ok to take a few pictures. The light in our backyard was gorgeous and I didn’t want to let the moment pass us by. So I grabbed my cameras – my digital and my film (yes, film, because I’m dabbling in it, ya know??? I’m still trying to decide what I like more, or if they are just too different to pick a favorite…)…
At first, she was sitting at our bedroom door, with the curtain blowing behind her, and I just loved what the light was doing here, so I went for it.

She’s always been quite shy, but as she gets older, she is slowly becoming more confident, but these photos show her inner shy self…

I even jumped into a couple photos, since I’m rarely in any pictures with the kids… and I guess she liked it because now she keeps asking if we can take pictures together again
She must really love her momma!
